It hits a perfect medium: strong enough to put balls away, yet consistently controllable. The pop is noticeable but never feels jumpy. Control & Feel The control is a 10/10. Drops and dinks feel effortless. Unlike many paddles that have a hollow, disconnected sensation, the Alpha Pro feels connected and "plushy. " Sweet Spot & Spin The sweet spot is impressive right out of the box, though I added a little lead tape to the bottom corners to tune it to my preference. While the grit is solid, the dwell time is the standout feature in my opinion. It makes shaping the ball and adding spin incredibly easy."
