| Skill Level | Range | Description Summary |
| Beginner Plus | 2.5 – 2.9 | You possess a basic understanding of the game, including the rules and scoring, and you can generally correct yourself on court positioning. You can play a match and get most shots on the court. While you may occasionally miss 1-2 points due to confusion, you have the foundational knowledge needed to keep a rally going. This level typically includes individuals who have been involved in the sport for 6 months or less with no prior high-level racquet sports background. |
| Intermediate | 3.0 – 3.6 | You have a full knowledge of how to play and the rules, and you are rarely missing a shot unless you are forced. You are starting to develop a basic understanding of strategy and can play rallies out, but you still need work on consistency and keeping the ball low. At the higher end of this range (3.5+), you are starting to plan out your shots and may begin using advanced strategies like stacking or working with your partner to manipulate points. |
| Advanced | 3.7 – 4.5 | You possess a full, strategic understanding of the game. You can control the point, making fewer mistakes, and consistently keep the ball low over the net. Your serve and returns are weapons, and you frequently take the ball out of the air at the net to compromise your opponents. At the highest end of this range (4.0+), you are dictating the point, moving opponents around with control and precision, and are skilled in all shot selection and execution. You make few unforced errors and can generally recover well from poor shots. |
