Purav Raja began his illustrious professional tennis career in 2006, going on to represent the Indian Davis Cup team multiple times. He achieved a career-high ATP doubles ranking of 52, securing victories at ATP Tour events in Bogota and Los Cabos. Over a career spanning more than 15 years, Purav competed in 20 Grand Slams, with notable wins over top players such as Tsitsipas, Wawrinka, Fritz, De Minaur, and Norrie.
Pickleball Journey:
Purav transitioned to pickleball in 2024, bringing his wealth of experience from the professional tennis circuit to the rapidly growing sport. His deep understanding of racket sports and competitive drive position him well to make a significant impact on the pickleball scene.

With a background that includes high-level Grand Slam and ATP Tour competition, Purav brings a formidable skill set and strategic acumen to the pickleball court. Beyond his dedication to racket sports, Purav has diverse interests. In his free time, he enjoys playing snooker and padel, and is an avid fan of Liverpool soccer. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and love for racket sports by helping kids learn the fundamentals. Purav also created and hosted his own TV show, "Chai with Raja," where he uniquely interviewed elite athletes from various fields, a show that eventually aired on National Television.
