Jose Derisi brings a rich sporting history and a commitment to personal growth to his esteemed pickleball career. Prior to his involvement in pickleball, Jose honed his skills in both tennis and padel tennis, demonstrating a versatile athletic background. Beyond the court, Jose pursued academic excellence, completing an MBA from the University of Rochester, highlighting his dedication to continuous learning and professional development.


Pickleball Journey

Jose embarked on his pickleball journey seven years ago and has since become a prominent figure in the sport. His dedication and talent quickly propelled him to the professional ranks, where he has consistently earned multiple medals in the pro divisions at prestigious tournaments such as the US Open, APP, and PPA. Recognized for his skill and experience, Jose holds the distinction of being a top Senior Pro player, showcasing his continued prowess and expertise. In addition to his competitive achievements, Jose is deeply committed to sharing his knowledge and passion for the game, serving as the Lead Pro Instructor for Engage Pickleball Camps and conducting various camps and group lessons as a certified pickleball instructor.
