Sometimes, the most unexpected encounters can lead to lifelong passions. For Nguyễn Văn Đức, that passion is pickleball, and it all started with a chance meeting.
"I accidentally learned about pickleball and fell in love with it immediately," Nguyễn shared. "I was fortunate enough to meet one of the first Vietnamese pickleball players, and they happened to be using an Engage racket."
Intrigued by the sport and the equipment, Nguyễn's curiosity led him to try it out. "The coach had two rackets, and I got to play with a demo racket that Engage had given her," he explained. "Right after that, I knew I had to have one! I ordered two rackets, one for me and one for my wife."
What captivated Nguyễn about pickleball? "I love that it challenges me to master so many different movements," he said. "It's a dynamic and exciting sport."
Nguyễn is now eager to share his love for pickleball and Engage with others. "I'm excited to be on this 2025 journey with the Engage brand," he declared, hinting at plans to promote pickleball and Engage across Vietnam in the coming year.
