"I was anxious to try this new lower grade paddle since I have been playing with the higher level paddles for 2 to 3 years. I was very pleasantly surprised with both the level of control and how hard the paddle transferred energy to the ball. I honestly felt it was superior to both my upper level paddles and really enjoyed the high level of spin I could easily put on the ball. A very nice paddle at any price, let alone the $69 I paid!"

This is very reasonably priced paddle for recreational use and in my opinion spot on to get beginners use to the carbon surface and width.
