Engage Pickleball Training Camps Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for participating in Engage Pickleball training camps. By registering for a camp, you agree to abide by the terms set forth below. We strive to provide a top-tier training experience for all participants and ask that you read these terms carefully to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.
1. Inclement Weather Policy
At Engage Pickleball, we select our camp locations during optimal times of the year to maximize the chances of favorable weather conditions. However, as weather patterns are unpredictable, we recognize that there is always the possibility of inclement weather affecting our camps, both domestically and internationally.
-
Weather-Related Adjustments: Whether the camp is scheduled to take place outdoors or indoors, we advise all participants to be prepared for outdoor conditions. In the event of inclement weather (e.g., rain, storms, etc.), we will make every effort to proceed with the camp as originally scheduled. However, last-minute changes to the camp’s schedule, hours, or location may be required to accommodate the weather forecast.
-
Notification of Changes: Should adjustments to the schedule or location be necessary, Engage Pickleball will send email notifications to all registered participants with updated details on the new times and/or location. These changes may occur as late as a few hours before the camp start time to ensure the best possible outcome for all attendees.
-
Refunds and Credits:
-
If a location change occurs and is within a 45-minute drive of the originally scheduled venue, or if the camp schedule is altered within 3 hours of the originally planned start time, no refunds will be issued.
-
If more than 3 hours of instructional time is lost due to weather-related changes, Engage Pickleball may, at its discretion, offer a refund or provide an additional paddle credit (or other products). We also reserve the right to offer additional viable alternatives, given Engage Pickleball’s standing as one of the world’s top paddle manufacturers. Rest assured, we will do everything possible to make the situation right and ensure you receive value for your time.
-
Note: Because we understand the importance of travel and lodging arrangements made by our attendees, we will aim to make changes with as much notice as possible. However, certain weather conditions may arise unexpectedly, which can lead to unavoidable last-minute adjustments.
2. Liability Waiver
By registering for an Engage Pickleball Camp, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
-
Waiver of Liability: Engage Pickleball, including its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers, and licensors, shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any type of direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the camp.
-
Risk Acknowledgment: You understand and agree that participating in a pickleball training camp involves certain risks, including but not limited to physical injury. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to assess your own health and fitness level before attending a camp. By registering for the camp, you assume all risks associated with participation, including travel, accommodation, and physical activity involved in the camp.
-
Medical Emergency: In case of an emergency, Engage Pickleball will make every reasonable effort to contact the appropriate medical personnel. You are encouraged to have your own medical insurance coverage while attending the camp.
3. Changes in Instructors or Scheduling
-
Instructor Substitutions: Engage Pickleball strives to provide world-class coaching and instructors at each camp. However, should an unforeseen circumstance arise (e.g., illness, travel issues, or emergencies), the pros listed for a particular camp may be subject to change. While we make every effort to provide suitable replacements, we do not guarantee specific instructors, and you understand that the camp may proceed with different coaching personnel if necessary.
-
Camp Schedule Changes: In rare instances, camps may experience schedule adjustments due to logistical reasons. Engage Pickleball will notify all attendees as soon as possible regarding any changes. While we will strive to keep disruptions to a minimum, we are not liable for any inconvenience or additional costs incurred due to these adjustments.
4. Registration and Cancellation Policy
-
Registration Process: All participants must complete the registration process before attending a camp. Payment must be received in full to confirm your registration. We recommend early registration to ensure space availability.
-
Cancellation by Participant:
-
If you need to cancel your registration, please refer to the Cancellation Policy provided on the registration page for specific guidelines regarding refunds or credits.
-
Engage Pickleball reserves the right to cancel or reschedule camps if necessary, with notifications sent to registered participants as soon as possible.
-
-
Cancellation by Engage Pickleball: In the unlikely event that Engage Pickleball is forced to cancel or reschedule a camp due to unforeseen circumstances (such as instructor availability, facility issues, or other factors), you will be notified immediately, and you will be offered the option to transfer to a different camp or receive a full refund.
5. Behavior and Code of Conduct
Engage Pickleball is committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. We ask that all camp attendees behave respectfully toward fellow participants, instructors, and camp staff.
