Why X2

The next evolution in paddle design. The X2 is engineered from the ground up on a 100% foam architecture, combining quad-density foam, a micro-weave carbon fiber face, and a high-density fiberglass perimeter weighting system to maximize energy return, stability, and ball bite.

Most paddles absorb and disperse energy. The X2 is engineered to compress and release energy consistently across the entire face—so every shot hits harder, spins more, and stays controlled.

Core Technologies

  • Quad-Density Foam Core (Hitting Area) Softer outer foam for dwell and feel; firmer inner foam for power and rebound.

  • EVA Foam Transition RingFull foam ring surrounding the dual-density foam core for increased power, smoother energy transfer and improved stability.

  • Full-Perimeter High-Density Foam Layer Continuous foam around the entire perimeter of the paddle for stability, a larger sweet spot, and off-center performance.

  • Fiberglass Perimeter Weighting — High-density fiberglass added to the outer edges of the paddle head for stability, consistent energy transfer, and improved off-center performance.

  • Micro-Weave Carbon Fiber FaceThinner carbon fiber strands for more elasticity, dwell time, and consistent ball interaction across swing speeds.

Reviews

I'm in on this one! (X2)

"I held off on reviewing this paddle as I wanted to get in some break-in/play time. And I do believe it requires a little break-in time. Also, I'm coming from the Apha-Pro 14mm and the X2 is 16mm, so I needed a bit of time to adjust. Fast forward and it's been 2 months of solid play and it just keeps getting better. From the jump I felt the X2 had more control and was a little more forgiven. I'm an okay/older player (3. 78DUPR/Age 56), so I needed the bigger sweet-spot. Being that it was 16mm, for me, it didn't have the same "pop" and felt very light. almost too balanced i. e. no head weight. I added a little weight to the top half of the paddle and that was key in getting the extra power. In doing that, I didn't lose any control, as a matter of fact I think it helped because I noticed less head twist. Overall it took a little time and tunning but I'm EXTERMELY HAPPY with the X2!!!!!"

Good but…

"I tried to like this paddle but after using it for around 15 hours it still had dead spots along the edges of the paddle. I tried different weight setups and modifications but nothing made it easier to control. Nothing beats good ol’ gen 3 sweet spot on control along with the put away power. My favorite paddle is the Engage alpha 16mm which was discontinued but it is the best paddle they have made for control and sweet spot size once broken in. It does take a couple weeks to break in."

Pick up and play

"I recently returned to playing with Engage after the launch of the X2. The switch from a very loud and explosive paddle to the X2 with its soft feel while retaining power was so easy. Within a few game points it felt familiar and comfortable. This provided me confidence to go out and explore the playing possibilities of this new generation Engage. I can't quite put my finger on it - but it's different in a good way!"

Above average satisfied

"I’ve drilled with the paddle for three hours total, played for 1. 5 hours. Above average satisfied. Love the spin. Love the control. Handle is larger around than what my girlie hand is used to. Not pleased with the color white grip. Also not pleased with the slipperiness of the grip. Using a glove will add to the handle circumference."

Engage X2

"Still not totally sure about this paddle. I have always used engage paddles. This one has more pop - I don't think it has as much power as my other engage paddle and was hoping it would. I am still not sure if I like it better then the one I have been playing with."

Perfect !

"The X2 paddle is excellent for all-court play. It offers superb control, and the dwell time allows precise ball shaping. When you need power, it delivers without compromise. Overall, a fantastic all-court paddle for players who want versatility and performance."

"The X2 paddle is a really great paddle. Love the light weight and spin I get off it. Thanks for the opportunity to purchase such a high quality paddle at at a great price."

Engage X2

"I like it. But I would say I'm still getting used to it and the performance the paddle gives me. Definitely performs differently than traditional honeycomb paddles. Feel like I get hard deep hits without as much effort. Surface feels good and gives me good spins. Overall, feels good in my hand and is a good upgrade for me."
