The 2025 USA Pickleball National Championships recently wrapped up, and Engage Pickleball Pro Player Richard Livornese Jr. delivered a spectacular performance, earning the Gold Medal in Men's Pro Doubles! Alongside his partner, Jack Munro, the duo battled through the tough competition to reach the top of the podium.

Richard's journey to the top was marked by resilience and teamwork, which he highlighted in his recent social media post.

"Joy! That’s what I feel every time I get to play pickleball. It’s easy to forget sometimes, but doing this is truly a dream come true."

A Champion Partnership: Men’s Pro Doubles Gold

The Men's Pro Doubles division was intensely competitive, but the partnership between Livornese Jr. and Munro proved to be gold-medal caliber. Richard credited his partner's unwavering support and on-court synergy for their big win.

  • Men's Pro Doubles: Gold Medal with Jack Munro.

  • The Power of Teamwork: "Love playing with Jack — he had my back every time I needed it. Grateful to compete with you, my friend."

The new champions were truly tested in the final, which went to three games against one of the APP Tour's top teams, Erik Lange and Max Manthou. Richard and Jack fought through a demanding bracket where each of their last three matches went the distance, solidifying their status as true champions who can perform under pressure.

Mixed Doubles and Gratitude

Richard also had a memorable run in Mixed Doubles with the "one and only" Bobbi Oshiro. While they didn't claim the top spot, the fun and competitive spirit of their battles stood out.

Beyond the matches, Richard's success is a testament to the strong support system he has around him. He gave a special shout-out to his pickleball friends and coach, Zack Marceau, for their guidance and encouragement. He also recognized USA Pickleball for putting on a fantastic tournament: "I look forward to Nationals every year, and this one was the best yet."

What's Next for the Engage Pro?

Despite the massive win, the grind doesn't stop. Richard is already looking ahead, noting he has "Lots to improve on, so it’s right back to work." He's feeling lucky to live his dream as a professional player and is gearing up for a busy end to the year—right after some well-deserved Thanksgiving family time.

Congratulations once again to Richard Livornese Jr. for delivering such a dominant performance at the 2025 USA Pickleball National Championships. His dedication and passion for the sport are an inspiration to the entire Engage Pickleball community!
