Background:

Jaime Oncins is a former professional tennis player with a remarkable 15-year career on the ATP tour. He achieved a career-high ATP ranking of No. 34 in singles and No. 22 in doubles and represented Brazil in the Davis Cup for over a decade. He is one of the few Brazilian tennis players to reach the Davis Cup semifinals twice. Jaime also participated in two Olympic Games as a player (Barcelona 1992 and Sydney 2000) and coached the Brazilian women's doubles team to a bronze medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

 

 

Pickleball Journey:

Around five years ago, Jaime discovered pickleball, which quickly reignited his competitive spirit. His transition to the sport was seamless, as his skills in precise shot-making, quick footwork, and mental toughness translated perfectly. He now competes regularly in pickleball tournaments, where his professional tennis background gives him a distinct advantage over opponents.

Jaime brings a formidable skillset and strategic acumen to the pickleball court. His extensive experience in professional tennis, particularly in doubles, allows him to outmaneuver opponents with well-timed shots and strategic plays. He continues to push the boundaries of what is possible on the court, demonstrating his adaptability and relentless pursuit of excellence.
