Volleys in pickleball are shots hit before the ball bounces, typically used at the net. Use volleys to maintain offensive pressure and control the pace of the game. By striking the ball in the air, you reduce your opponent’s reaction time. To execute a volley, keep your paddle up, use a compact swing, and aim for your opponent’s weak spots to stay aggressive and in control.
