Mattias Johansson, is a former tennis player and coach, who has 28 years of head coaching experience at Vanguard University and UC Riverside. He was inducted into the Vanguard Hall of Fame as both a player and coach in 2014, and then was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 2015. Not only is he an extremely qualified tennis instructor, he is also a certified pickleball instructor.
Mattias started playing in 2020, and began playing Senior Pro events less than 6 months later. He currently holds the #1 Men’s Senior Pro Singles ranking, and has accumulated over 30 Senior Pro Singles Titles and 20 additional podiums. Singles Titles include the 2022 US Open, 2022 NY Open, 2022 PPA Championships and the 2022 Nationals.
